Bore Hole and Water
Contaminated water and poor sanitation are linked to transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, and polio.Β Β Absence of inadequate, or inappropriately managed water and sanitation services expose individuals to preventable health risks. This is particularly the case in poor communities where an entire population is at risk of infection and disease when their only source of water is dirty streams and stagnant ponds.
